Medical Ozone is used to treat chronic inflammatory conditions and helps stimulate intrinsic healing processes in joints and soft tissues.
If you’re suffering from allergies, asthma, viral illnesses, gastrointestinal disorders, skin conditions, poor wound healing, chronic Lyme disease, or any number of other conditions, then oxidative therapy may provide the relief you’ve been looking for.
Since its discovery in 1840, ozone therapy has been used and heavily studied over the past century. Nikola Tesla patented the first ozone generator which was then used during World War I to help cleanse wounds. This technology has since been refined and taken on many additional uses—including water disinfection, viral inactivation, and as an adjunct following dental procedures. In Germany, some ambulances are equipped with ozone generators for treating stroke victims in order to minimize neurologic deficits. Ozone therapy is one of the safest treatments in medicine with fewer complications than aspirin. As a result, it can be administered in several different ways.
What to expect: Below is an overview of the various methods Ozone can be used.
Mixed with oil: Ozonated Olive Oil is used to address conditions such as acne, skin lesions, burns, fungal infections (e.g. of the toenails), herpes, eczema, leg sores, bed sores, cold sores, and many others. Ozone is infused at very high concentrations until the oil is saturated and solidifies into an ointment. The process does not involve artificial stabilizers, chemicals or preservatives.
Absorption through skin pores: For 15-40 minutes, the user can put on a body suit or enter a tent into which ozone is concentrated. This process opens skin pores through which ozone is absorbed, cleansing the skin and lymphatic system from the outside in. This treatment is usually performed 2-3 times per week.
Isolation of specific areas: Parts of the body (hand, arm, leg, foot, torso, etc.) can be isolated using a “bagging” technique. We then use saturate that area with ozone. This method can be used to treat gangrene, diabetic foot ulcers, bed sores, burns and infected or slow-to-heal wounds. In addition to killing pathogens, this method increases blood flow to the wound, expediting repair. Treatment times vary from 10-30 minutes and concentrations are adjusted based on response.
Autohemotherapy: Approximately 200mL of the blood is withdrawn from the client into an evacuated capsule. Ozone gas of a specific volume and concentration is then infused into the capsule and the blood is transfused back to the client. The process is repeated about 10 times per session. All equipment used is of medical-grade sterility and our methods are quite safe. You will receive a blood thinning agent during this procedure to ensure that unwanted clotting does not occur. Post-procedure activity limitations will be described in detail.
Joint injection: Ozone can be dissolved into solutions which are then injected intra-articularly for pain relief and anti-inflammatory purposes.
